Phil's 750 Mile Team Walk
Fundraising for Essential Christian
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am taking part in a team fundraising event with my colleagues from Essential Christian.
Our team are spread out working from home and we've worked out that it is a 750 mile trip to travel around each of our homes. So, we're trying to do this multiple times by walking, running or cycling locally and combining our individual exercise into one Strava Team.
In taking part, we hope that this event will boost the mental well-being of our staff team and bring a sense of community during lockdown.
Our target is to cumulatively raise £6,000 to bring transformation for “Hope Lebedyn”, a charity that Essential Christian supports in Ukraine. This charity runs a community centre in the town of Lebedyn and brings practical care and support to under-privileged families and children. The money we raise will enable a programme of Summer Camps to go ahead for local children in 2021, which will mean so much to them.
