Story
Peter Phelps (my dad) was a kind, intelligent, honest man who passed away after a short battle with cancer. He spent his life wanting to achieve the best (which he did) and wanting the best for everyone he met. He took a genuine interest in each and every person he spoke to and provided his wealth of knowledge to anyone who would listen. He was a respected journalist who won journalist of the year when working at the Liverpool echo, an accolade that he was incredibly proud of. Overall he was kind and I know that this is how he would like to be remembered. He was very much loved by his wife, friends and family and he impacted the lives of many others.
In order to remember him we would like money to be donated to Queenscourt hospice. They helped my dad for a short period of time when he was ill and showed us kindness and compassion at a time when we all needed it most. They have also helped many many people in our local community with friends and family who have been terminally ill and have lost out on fundraising opportunities due to the current situation.
