We Support families of children with cancer to Help families get quality time together

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The 19 miles were completed along with many other supporters with the weather being kind to us. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the cause - what a super effort!! It was a wonderful afternoon walking with friends and meeting up with Karen and Natalie at the Robin Hood at the finish. I was delighted but my left big toe wasn't. The total has now passed the £2300 mark - an unbelievable response from family, friends and everyone at KES.

In October, our world was turned upside down when Natalie was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma, a rare form of liver cancer. Natalie is under the superb care of Sheffield Children's Hospital and is having a course of Chemotherapy that she is bearing with great bravery and fighting spirit.

So many people have been supportive at this difficult time and it makes us feel very humble. PACT (Parents Association for Children with Tumours and Leukemia) are there to help parents with the reality of childhood cancer and to offer support. Money raised will help us provide other parents and carers with the support that they desperately need when confronted with childhood cancer.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. So please dig deep and donate now.

Natalie is hoping to meet the walkers and runners at the Robin Hood at the end of the route - see you there!!
