On the 28th February I will be shaving my beard off!
My beard has been a fixture on my face for nearly seven-years. It's had many-a-meal stuck in it and has traveled to several countries. It's had a good inning, but now it's time to say farewell to my fuzzy facial friend in order to help out some other fuzzy furry friends.
I've chosen Llys Nini as one of Pablo's best friends is a rescued role ambassador for the centre, and Pablo insisted we help out Mr. Pugsley's fellow animal pals that haven't found their fur-ever homes yet like we have. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing pandemic, they haven't been able to raise as much money as they normally would do when they could have their shop open and run events and fundraisers. They are an independently run, self-funding charity based in South Wales committed to providing animal welfare services in the area. The branch is affiliated with the national RSPCA but receives no automatic funding from it, which means they need to raise £800,000 a year to cover their running costs.
I'm hoping to raise £1,000 for Llys Nini which will help towards the running costs of the centre. On the 28th February I'll live stream the event on my Facebook, so make sure to tune in to watch my beard's demise, and share so your friends can donate too!
