Story
As many of you will know Trinity Hospice is a charity that means the world to me, to my family and to my friends. I share Trinity's passionate belief that truly excellent end of life care enables us all to 'live every moment' and with their incredible help and support my amazing wife, Lisa Lynch, was able to thrive during the last few weeks of her life every bit as much as she'd thrived every day previous. The impeccable standard of care that Lisa received gave her the freedom, safety and comfort to truly cherish this time with her family and closest friends.
So, from 30 April to 2 May five great mates and I will be cycling in Lisa's memory from London to Paris to raise as much money as is humanly possible for Trinity. We'll be cycling a total of 200 miles over three days - the equivalent of doing 2 road marathons so I'm told. The journey will take us from London to Portsmouth to Le Havre (via the overnight ferry) before embarking on a two day cycle into Paris.
The five of us passionately believe that everyone should have access to the same skilled, compassionate and dignified end of life care that Lisa had. To help us make this a reality then please do give as generously as you can.
Many thanks,
Peter, Joss, Miguel, Nathan and Andy.
