Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm delighted to announce that I am now booked to, finally, make my skydive on my 85th Birthday - 25th July 2021 at Sibson Airfield, Peterborough at 12.30pm. Thank you for your support, generosity and patience.

Very sadly, and with huge disappointment, I have to report that my skydive has been postponed due to Covid-19 regulations. I have been informed by British Skydiving, the governing body of skydiving in the UK, that they are enforcing a number of regulations for people aged 50+ in line with government policy. Frustratingly, I can not be given a new date until the guidelines are reviewed. I fully intend to hold my Birthday dive, but very sadly it will not be this Sunday. Your support and understanding is much appreciated, but if you do have questions or would like your donation refunded please contact Lucy at the BCCT office lucy@bobchampion.org.uk or 07973 133685.
I will of course post my new date as soon as it is confirmed.
I have always wanted to do a Sky Dive and have decided that 2020 is the year! I took part many years ago in the 'Brave Highlander Sponsored Walk' in aid of The Bob Champion Cancer Trust and felt I wanted to do more to help this worthwhile cause. I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to ride the wonderful Brave Highlander, owned by Nick Embiricos - Aldaniti's owner - and thoroughly enjoyed the day and experience. Now I feel it's time to do something different, some of you may think me nutty at the age of 83 but I'm always up for a challenge, like the time I flew a Tiger Moth from Newmarket to Cambridge with no fuel! Your support in my latest venture, however small, will be much appreciated.
The date for my Sky Dive is confirmed for Sunday, 26th July, the perfect way to celebrate my 84th Birthday! I'm hoping for a beautiful day so I can enjoy the view.....Please do come along and support me on Salisbury Plain.
