Story
Leo's supports families of sick and premature babies across the North East. Every year over 60,000 babies are born early and require neonatal care. Leo's Charity helps to give local families who have a baby born early the support that they need.
North Tees and Hartlepool Maternity Unit is planning to walk 60,000 steps together to raise awareness of premature births with a final walk up Roseberry Topping on 13th November.
We are delighted that Oxbridge Primary School children will also be painting stones for us and we would love each stone to have the details of a baby born early. During the walk we will be leaving the stones in different locations around Roseberry Topping for people to find at a later date.
If you would love to support Leo's, please leave a donation and within the comments add the name of a premature baby and any other details you would like adding to a stone ie. birth weight or how many weeks early the baby was born.
The pebbles for preemies and all fundraising will help Leo's to continue to deliver the amazing work that they do supporting our local families.
Thank you.
