I think the charity do an amazing job!
Last year I took part in this event, it was dark, cold and rainy...plus there was a huge shadow of a spider on the fence near me (but I didn't know where the spider was!...as if that was the least of MY worries...perspective!!!!!)
The morning after, I had thought if someone had told me I'd of had to do it again that night...and the night after...and the one after that (you know where I'm going with this...) I would of been beyond gutted!
Returning home to my warm house and loving family, I felt privileged. the experience is not anywhere near what it must be like to be homeless. But it makes you think..... I was afraid of the spider!.....I reckon they are the last worry of a homeless person don't you!
Homeless people really need more support and Simon on the streets do an amazing job. I took part in the event to raise awareness, money and possibly change some attitudes towards the homeless. I feel that it achieved all 3 of my goals...so why not do it again!
If you could take the time to sponsor me that would be great. Many thanks Paula
