Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am competing in the London Marathon on 17th April 2011.

I hope you will join me in raising funds for a cause very close to my heart.

My father Len passed away in September of last year in a hospice near to his home on Merseyside.

The Hospice is called Willowbrook and it cares for people with life limiting illnesses.

They are a charity that relies heavily on fundraising as they only receive a small contribution from the NHS.

Although my dad was only in the hospice for a short period of time, the palliative care they provided and

the support they gave to me and my family made the situation slightly more bearable.

My brother in law Tommy also passed away in the same hospice 3 years ago and I know my sister

Jeanette could not have asked for better care and support from the staff.

I do hope that you dig deep into your pockets to help this worthy cause and the patients who may need

the same care in the future.

Many Thanks from the Wilkinson family for your generous donation.
