Our dear friend Andrew very sadly died last summer aged just 54.  As a lifelong supporter of YHA, and a hostel manager for over 22 years, he saw first hand how much youngsters gained from a life-changing experience away from home, especially those from a disadvantaged background.  

So several of his cycling buddies have decided to raise funds in his name for a cause he believed passionately about all his adult life.

We will ride a route of 540  kilometres and 24,000 feet of climbing over 5 days, around the counties of Somerset and Devon, linking together the hostels at Minehead, Street, Cheddar, Beer, Bellever (Dartmoor), Okehampton and Elmscott.......and perhaps just maybe inspire others young and old to get out in the fresh air, enjoy the countryside, find adventure and friendship!
