Charity Grass Cut With Scissors · 5 April 2020

AIDS is the most devastating modern-day disease. By the end of the 20th century, 50 years worth of public health gains were annihilated by AIDS, which continues to destroy lives. Our vision today is to create an AIDS free future through science, support, and most of all, compassion. You can help.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So, as the story goes.

We moved last year and some of our stuff is still in storage, which includes my lawn mower.

I was due to go and get it when our PM locked us all down here in the UK.

What was I to do? Long grass with no mower. My new lawn was looking a mess.

My only means of cutting it was with the kitchen scissors.

So being a fan of Sir Elton John and with him announcing yesterday his fundraiser through The EJAF to donate $ 1 million to help with Covid-19 and its consequences in less fortunate places which also have high cases of HIV, I thought let's make my task beneficial

An Elton concert normally lasts around 2 hrs 30 minutes so I got up early and listened to a concert in my headphones whilst on my hands and knees cutting my grass with a small pair of kitchen scissors.

You can watch the time-lapse of me completing my task at www.eltonjohnstore.com

Please give generously for this worthy cause
