The 2014 swim will see 22 swimmers cross from Ryde beach to Southsea, across one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world.

The swim is scheduled to take place on 21 July, leaving Ryde Sands at around 1:00pm, it is anticipated the last swimmers should arrive at Southsea beach at approximately 3:30pm
