Katharine died in a car accident on her way to work on a bright, clear sunny morning. In a few seconds the lives of all those closest to her changed forever and hers ended. 

Those of you who knew her well knew that she was a kind, cheerful and thoughtful  person, who would do so many things quietly for people without looking for praise. She always worked so hard and never asked anyone for anything but was always prepared to give so much to others for no reward. She was quiet and unassuming with a mischievous sense of humour which was never at the expense of others. 

Despite the efforts of the emergency services they couldn’t save her life. The air ambulance was involved right at the end and her last contact would have been with the staff from services which deal with the horror of these situations so it seems right that she should be remembered through them and hopefully help others too.
