Chris fought a rare cancer  called epithelioid haemangioendothelioma in her liver for 15 years. During that time she was essentially well and enjoyed life to the full. Unfortunately, about a year ago, she started getting stomach pains. These got progressively worse and could not be controlled. It was then found her disease had spread  She eventually went into hospital and, after two weeks, passed away peacefully on 26th May 2020. 

Chris was a gentle soul and was loved by everyone she met. I will never forget her for her bravery and humour throughout this period. She was only 61 and taken far too soon but is now pain free and at rest. We want to remember her and one of the best ways to do this is to try finding a cure for this rare disease.
