Some of you will know that I’ve been volunteering for Sanctus with my brother for the past year.

Whilst food donations are our main helping hand, there is a significant cost to running the centre, and this has only increased given the current pandemic.

The centre provides needed help not just for homeless people, but ordinary families who struggle to make ends meet.

I believe that food and shelter should be for everyone, and although the Government does not agree, we should spare the slightest help for people who may need it.

We’ve all been in that situation where we are asked for money on the street, and although it’s right to not do so- the feeling not helping is powerful afterwards. I’d like to encourage everyone who has felt this, just to give something, no donation is too small.

It only takes 2 minutes, and will make you feel a lot better knowing we’ve contributed to a small help.

I’d really like to use this page in a positive way so we can collectively raise funds for a place I care deeply about.
