This annual fundraiser allows Y-CAP to provide 1,000 at-risk students in Davidson County with academic, social, emotional and spiritual support.

Story

For 35 years, the YMCA Community Action Project (YCAP) has been helping at-risk students in Davidson County claim a brighter future by offering safe spaces with caring adults to provide academic, emotional, and spiritual support in the face of educational, economic and social disadvantage. Currently, YCAP works with over 800 underserved K-12 students from 101 schools and community sites at no charge, focusing on the greatest perceived needs by age group. In the midst of the rapidly changing neighborhoods and communities it serves and following the March 2020 tornado that destroyed its offices, YCAP has found ways to continue making a difference in students lives. Invest in Y-CAP and the future of a student today by donating to our 2020 Y-CAP Champions Campaign.
