My dad has recently passed away after suffering with Dementia for over 5 years. The last 3 years he has been in care homes in Essex & we would like to give something back to dementia in Essex. In lieu of flowers a donation would be welcomed.

My Dad, Pat, was a kind man, helpful to others, who was a family man who loved his wife & children very much. Always able to make you laugh, & was a sucker for a cake or 4! He loved Tottenham Hotspur as all the family do, & they to have lost one of their own!

So strong, he was a fighter until the end, he didn’t want to be beaten but after a long fight he is no longer in pain & can rest in peace.

Thank you for everything you did for us as a family. Thank you for everything you did for me & Gemma as a dad. Thank you for welcoming Amanda & Matt into our family & treating them as your own. Thank you for being the best grandad to Hudson & Bella, they miss playing with you so much, you was so much fun. I wish I could have that one last journey home from work with you, we would chat, & sing like crazy smashing the steering wheel to whatever great tune you put in the van!

I wish we could tell you that one last time, we all loved you so much & will miss you always.
