Hello I am Libby and I need your help!

Bashley (Rydal) Cricket Club (BCC) is one of the most successful in Hampshire providing excellent coaching for youngsters and also fab adult club cricket.  The club's kindness has helped my brother since he was little.  Like most clubs it is run by a dedicated core of volunteers, who work very very hard. 

Many of the big fundraising events for the club in recent years have had to be cancelled due to bad weather. 

Fundraising for the club is a vital income stream, and therefore, as a result of the bad weather, and reduced income an alternative is needed to help the club.

I am no good at cricket......BUT.....I can swim and therefore in order to support the club, (and hopefully raise some money) I have decided to swim the length of the River Thames 214 miles!  I will swim one mile in my local pool every day for 214 days. The last day will be my 20th birthday 02 May 2016.

I need your help to raise funds so the club can carry on doing what it does best......develop the love of cricket.  

If you are a club member why not make a donation and come and swim with me.....swimming is great exercise and can help you maintain your fitness over the winter months! (64 lengths of a 25m pool is 1 mile!!!!)
