What are we doing?

Pat, Andy, Simon and Lee will soon be undertaking a humanitarian mission to transport generators, clothing and medical supplies from Bristol to the Ukrainian border.

This 3,500 mile round trip will take around 6 days and will be entirely self-funded. However, if you would like to contribute to the costs of our mission, any donation would be gratefully received. Any surplus funds raised will help the charity to pay for more vital supplies for Ukraine.

Your donation, however small, will enable us to deliver critical goods and equipment to help some of the most needy and vulnerable people in Ukraine.

Why are we doing this?

To a less or greater degree, we have all been affected by the ongoing war. This venture is simply our way of standing with the people of Ukraine and helping in some way to make their lives a little easier.

How are we doing it?

We will be driving two long wheelbase vans, laden with goods and equipment that has been donated by people and organisations in Bristol. Leaving Bristol on 28th April, we will drive through no fewer than 6 countries to reach our destination.

We will perform a handover with trusted partners at the Romania-Ukraine border, who will take the goods into Ukraine and see it distributed responsibly.

How is it being organised?

We are doing this on behalf of a grassroots charity called From Bristol with Love for Ukraine. Set up immediately after the full scale invasion, this amazing group of volunteers have coordinated the collection and transportation of more than 42 delivery vans full of generators, clothing and medical supplies from Bristol to Ukraine

How much do we need to raise?

We have set a target of £2,500, which will help to cover some of the costs of our mission and help the charity to continue to purchase food, fuel, clothing and equipment into the future.

How else can you help?

From Bristol with Love for Ukraine still needs volunteers to help to organise donations in their Bristol warehouse and - most urgently - to help transport donated goods to their partners at the Ukrainian border.

They also need ongoing donations to help purchase generators, warm clothes and socks , first aid kits, medical supplies and dried foods
