My name is Paolo Clifton, I am ten years old and I am aiming to paddle from my local beach Perranporth to the nearby beach of Polly Joke, passing Holywell en route.. The reason I am doing this is to help the seals in these difficult times. I was lucky enough to visit the Cornish seal sanctuary before the most recent lockdown, and I was inspired to support them and the amazing work they do. 

I chose to paddle to Polly Joke because there is currently a colony of seals living there. My target is to complete the paddle in June, on a day with perfect conditions. Before I do this, I will be doing lots of training to prepare.
