Pakistan's poor are getting poorer, with many not having basic food to eat.

In February 2021, The Anzal Begum Foundation reached out to 16000 poor people providing them with a hot meal. We also distributed 1000 food parcels supporting 4000 poor people with daily essentials that kept them fed and nourished for a month.

This October 2021 The Anzal Begum Foundation will be returning to Pakistan to reach out to almost 50,000 poor people, providing them with a hot meal and distributing food parcels. Each hot meal costs less than 0.75p, each food parcel costs £40 and will keep a family fed for up to a month. that is less that 0.35p per person per day. Each parcel will contain flour, rice, oil, lentils and pulses as well as other items.

The Anzal Begum Foundation will be distributing in areas of Sindh, Baluchistan and Punjab
