We Support the homeless in Birmingham to Let them know we care

Story

I have been inspired by Newcastle's response to the pay-per-view debate, and feel this is something that EVERY team's fans should do.

COVID 19 has made this year a tough year for so many, being furloughed, losing jobs, having to shut their business... and more people than ever are at risk of homelessness.

BT and Sky's response to charge people additional money to watch games through pay-per-view is just another kick in the teeth. Some people argue its additional games that would not normally be shown, but the fact is that they are being shown, and for some people the passion for football (not even just necessarily for their own team) could lead them to accept a simple click of a button, with the large bill only coming through at the end of the month plunging them into more debt.

Say no to pay-per-view and if you can afford it, donate your £14.95 to a charity like this one. Lets make a stand to support those going through tough times.
