Story
Written by the children of Mrs Afia Khanom
Our beloved mother returned to Allāh on 1st December 2015.
Inna Lillāhi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rājiūn.
Mum was an amazing person to be around. Mum always made everyone smile around her. She was a walking sunshine. Mum never complained about anything despite going through testing times with her health. Mum would always help anyone who was in need.
A letter from her daughter:
Dear mum,
I know I didn’t get many years with you or many good memories towards the end, but thank you for teaching me what it means to be a woman. Thank you for loving me for the sake of Allah and showing me what it means to have grace, submission and kindness. Teaching me that nothing really matters apart from the relationship you have with your rabb. Even through your illness, you constantly reminded me of the love and blessings Allah had bestowed on us. Inshallah I make you proud, and follow in your footsteps of submission and gratitude to the deen.
May Allah bless you, bestow mercy upon you, elevate your status in Jannah, illuminate your grave and one day reunite us in the akhirah. Ameen. No words can be said to describe the deep love I hold for you. But inshallah through dua and charity you feel it. Alhamdulillah for the time we shared.

As part of a Sadqah Jaariyah (Continuous Charity) project, we are hoping to raise £7000 to build a masjid in a poor area.
The project will be managed by Al-Imdaad Foundation UK. They are a reputable charity who have a reputation of building masjids all over the world. Most importantly, Al-Imdaad Foundation UK amongst the select few who operate under a 100% Donation Policy.
The size of the masjid will be adequate for the local inhabitants for the needy area.
The funds will be used for the construction of the masjid, Wudhu (eablution) and toilet facilities, PA sound system and a Septic Tank.
The prophetﷺ states in an hadeeth,
“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build a house for him in paradise.” (Bukhari & Muslim)
Let’s be a part of this continuous charity. Even after we leave this world, we would still receive the rewards of people praying in the masjid In Shā Allāh!
Allāh promises to increases our reward multifold when giving charity.
“Indeed, those who practice charity have loaned Allah SWT a goodly loan; it will be multiplied for them and they will have a noble reward” - Holy Qur’an (57:18)
Whatever your amount of donation is, always have a sincere intention that you are solely doing it for the pleasure of Allah.
The prophet ﷺ states in a beautiful hadeeth,
“Wealth does not decrease by giving Sadaqah (charity)”.
