Story
This October we are giving up chocolate and sweets to fund raise for Common Ground. This may sound trivial or 'easy' but believe us it will be a challenge!
Ella volunteers at Common Ground, growing fresh produce for refugees and migrants in Brighton. The project creates a safe and nourishing space for refugees, migrants and locals, partnering with charities such as Voices In Exile. After a tough year, Common Ground is in need of vital funding to continue running. 64 new asylum seekers have just arrived into Brighton and are not receiving government funding; donations for causes such as ours have never been so important.
Funds go towards plants, growing and building materials, community workshops and more. Currently, Common Ground is in need of a cob oven to host cooking workshops and shared community meals.
Please motivate us to last the month by donating to Common Ground!
