This year ‘The One Love Project’ is helping and supporting families in and around Southend that have been particularly suffering financially and the effect of events that are often through no fault of their own 😓

Many families are already worried how they will put a dinner on the table this Christmas let alone presents around the tree 🍽🎄

We aim to make Christmas for at least 5 families in genuine need, with toys for the children, gift for mum & I dad, Christmas dinner will all the trimmings and a food hamper 🥰

All other children from families engaging with our services such as the pop-up kitchens and foodbank that already offer free meals to children, will be invited to receive a special gift from Father Christmas at our very first One Love Santa’s Grotto 🎅🏻🎁🎄 

No child on our radar will go without a present from Santa ❤️ This appeal is to buy just the toys and stocking fillers that will be gifted to children from families living in poverty this year 🧸 Toys and gifts will be purchased from local independent toy stores in and around Southend to support local businesses 🤗

If you can spare a couple of pounds or maybe a little more, this will make the world of difference and bring smiles to lots of little faces this festive season. It’s likely some will be referred from services supporting families suffering from bereavement, fleeing domestic violence, traumatic experiences as well as financial difficulties.
