Story
Johannah Deakin (Jay) is the mum of One Direction's Louis Tomlinson. Over the last, 5 years she has generously helped organize countless special events for charities which benefit seriously ill young children; both she and Louis have donated much of their time touching many lives.
Most recently Jay helped to organize a very special event the 'Cinderella Ball' for the charity Believe In Magic, in which many little Princes and Princesses had a magical night by creating special memories with their families. It was a huge success and raised several million pounds.
Jay's generosity also extends to helping countless fans of One Direction, many with serious illnesses to meet the boys! She has always been described as kind and warm by fans who have had the pleasure of meeting her. She and Louis together have selflessly done a great deal of things to make others happy.
One of the most touching instances was highlighted recently in this article by Alan Ewart http://soundofsummer.org/2016/01/14/louis-tomlinsons-fly-high-buddy-interview-transcript/ …
Both Jay and Louis give selflessly and generously. Often the happiness they give families goes undocumented as they ask the people they help not talk about it. This allows the focus to remain purely on the families that they help. Jay and Louis have used their incredibly unique and privileged position to help create special memories for families and children who need some happiness in their lives. They know what little gestures can mean to the people they help. Over the past five years both Jay and Louis's generosity has known no bounds. They strive to make people happy because they can, not because they have to.
Recently, Jay has been named a patron of Niamh's Next Step (http://www.niamhsnextstep.com/ ), a charity organization devoted to help children with a very aggressive form of cancer called Neuroblastoma, which is why we have chosen to raise money for this charity.
The charity's aim is to: " raise money and awareness of Neuroblastoma whilst offering help, support and advice to children and families affected by this aggressive childhood cancer. Other aims are to help fund much-needed research and education programs and help improve all round treatment of Neuroblastoma."
So please help us celebrate Johannah' s birthday this year and say thank you to her for giving us her son for five wonderful years and for all the fantastic charity work she has done with Louis to make the lives of others better.
