We are raising awareness and money to make Performing Arts accessible to all

Story

"The last week of January is the best time to fundraise." - No One.

I've been growing my hair now for (nearly) 3 years, with the purpose of donating it to The Little Princess Trust as less than 10% of hair is donated by guys and mine is now 22 inches long - hopefully, a lot of wigs!

During that time I started working at Equal People Performing Arts as a Singing Teacher, where I learned all about their project: their aim is to provide a safe and dignified space where everyone can enjoy the performing arts, regardless of ability, need and background.

Not only do they enjoy it - they thrive there. These young performers are absolutely amazing and they show me week in and week out how talented they all are. If any of you have had the opportunity to see them perform at places such as the Towngate Theatre, you'll see what I mean. They are incredible!

But I wasn't just blown away by the talent of the kids - but by the love, care and attention of those who work there too. They aren't just teaching these kids how to perform, dance and act; they are raising these performers to be good people, a true reflection of themselves.

They deserve all of your wonderful donations. I've put the lowest aim available, but I'm hoping we're going to smash through it. Please donate what you can.

So, on the 31st of January, it's the big shave! Simon Low from Simon Low Hairdressing has kindly donated his time and will be attending the party when the whole lot will be lopped off: and we will be filming it so you can see all the action!!
