Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am Olivia Clark, I am 12 years old and I am cutting my hair in memory of my little brother Cameron Clark. I am donating the hair to the Little Princess Trust also. I have been growing my hair for the last 2 and a half years with the aim to be able to sit on it before I did The Chop. As my hair has been getting longer (and harder to manage! Haha!) I have been getting taller, so getting it long enough to sit is proving rather difficult. I have now reached a point I can no longer manage with it, and have decided to go ahead and have it cut. I would really appreciate being able to reach my target, so any little helps please. Thank you.

About the charity

We started this journey in September 2013, after our own Brave Knight was 36th in Europe to be diagnosed with XIAP Deficiency. Unfortunately he lost his battle in May 2014. So as you can see this is a very rare condition, it's a genetic condition that only effects boys. It stops the immune system from working properly, so a common cold can become a matter of life or death. As well as the condition, the treatment for it is also life threatening. We want to raise money to fund any research to stop the treatment also being life threatening.
