Story
As we are living in the current pandemic and the government restrictions are continuing to severely impact all of us, now is the time we all need to dig deep and keep each other going. Half term is approaching...with social distancing measures in place and play centres closed, it's important to keep ourselves and the kids active and occupied.
This is why I have come up with the idea of ‘Kilometres for our Community’ to keep active and whilst doing so, give something back to those who need it most. The challenge is to complete a run, walk or bike either on your own or with the kids, and donate the distance covered back in pounds. So 1k completed is £1 donated and so on...
Whether you complete 1km or 100km no donation is too small!!
I know that now is not the most ideal of times to be asking for money so I really do mean it when I say no donation is too small.
Let's make it fun! Get out in our wellies/trainees or muddy on our bikes. Lets keep that smile on our faces and more importantly, help towards putting one on those who need us too.
All donations will go directly to this great place, St Andrew's Community Network within our local area, who aim to provide a range of services including a foodbank which is needed now more than ever.
So get your shoes/boots/wellies on and let's get going :-)
Thank you for your time x
