We support people with Down syndrome to improve lives, opportunities & outcomes

Story

I am taking part in this year’s Brighton Marathon to raise much needed funds for Portsmouth Down Syndrome Association and would be grateful for your support.

PDSA is a very special charity that provides my niece Matilda and her friends with specialist support to help them learn, achieve and reach their full potential.

PDSA have just moved into a new centre and they need help to finish fitting out the building with equipment, furniture and blinds.

PDSA’s aim is to provide specific training, therapies including a sensory room, social opportunities, employment opportunities and work place training for all their members with Down syndrome, whatever stage in life they are at.

Thank you for your help!

About the charity

Portsmouth DSA improves lives & outcomes by providing some of the UK’s best specialist services. We work hard to raise awareness, champion inclusion & celebrate diversity because when people with Down syndrome are given opportunities to participate & be fully included, the whole community benefits.
