UPDATED: my parents were able to safely evacuate, while my friends are remaining in our hometown Kharkiv, standing strong in it’s defence.
Dear friends,
In light of the recent news that RF is preparing for the next assault on the eastern part of Ukraine, our Kharkiv friends are in need of help. I was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine, went to Ukrainian schools and got a degree from a Ukrainian university. My parents are in Kharkiv right now.
I am living in the UK right now, and I have chosen to raise donations on behalf of Razom for Ukraine (https://razomforukraine.org/). Razom is a non-profit supporting the people of Ukraine in their continued quest for democracy and progress. And with their Emergency Response Fund, they are currently focusing on sending tactical medical and hospital supplies to the most needed areas of Ukraine. Thank you to all who have already found meaningful ways to donate to the many other incredible organisations out there. But if you are still in need of an option, or are looking to further your support, please consider donating.
If donating is not an option for you, please consider sharing this link to help spread the message and send love to the Ukrainian people!
Why it is important to help territorial defence forces: these people are protecting the backs of the army, their rear lands. They help civilians, they are civilians who've become soldiers - overnight.
Why it's important to help now: after 1.5 months of war people get used to the terrifying news about war and unfortunately, the amount of donations and help is decreasing dramatically. Although Moscow pledged to scale back military operations around Kyiv, the forces are now concentrated in the Eastern part of Ukraine and the country is in the middle of an unprovoked invasion by Russia, facing unimaginable attacks on humanity.
Slava Ukraini!
Glory to Ukraine!
