We would like to wish all our supporters a Happy Easter and invite you to eggstend your love for our older dogs, by donating the amount you would have spent* on a chocolate egg, to us :-)

Older dogs come into the care of Oldies Club, a volunteer-run dog rescue charity, for a variety of reasons, but they arrive with one wish in common ... to be kept safe, loved and well cared for while they wait in one of our wonderful foster homes for their forever family. While in our care, each dog will be assessed so that we know what sort of forever home will suit them best. Each dog will be checked by a vet and have any necessary veterinary care, which proves very costly in many cases, before setting off for their forever home.

We'd be really grateful if you would make a donation here today to help us continue our work rescuing and rehoming older dogs in the UK. Whether you donate the cost of the teeniest mini egg, the biggest, most luxurious one you can think of, or somewhere in between, we truly appreciate your support. 

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind everyone who may be 'indulging' this weekend that chocolate is toxic to dogs, so please be particularly careful to make sure your dog doesn't eat any. Please also be careful with any Easter cakes/buns that contain dried fruit such as raisins and sultanas as these can also prove toxic to dogs. Sweeteners such as Xylitol can also be extremely dangerous for dogs. So enjoy yourselves, but keep everyone safe :-)
