Please give generously to this fund specifically for African students who are facing unexpected financial or welfare difficulties as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Many of them came to the country with all their plans in place, but didn't expect that:

• They and their dependents would be out of work,
• They would still have to pay bills and other costs,
• They would have to provide for their family,
• Services would be limited for people from abroad, and much more.

We have received several distress calls from families who can no longer cope with the economic effects of the pandemic and are of course unable to return home. They do not have access to public funding, so would be glad for any assistance to ease their difficulties.

A committee has been set up to administer the funds and ensure that the most worthy get a little  to assist them through these difficult times. Your contributions will go a long way towards helping student, (some of whom are parents), theirs spouses and children.
