Hamish Dear’s Warm Hugs provides financial assistance to families where a child has a cancer diagnosis. They provide day trips, gifts and funding towards short breaks for children undergoing treatment in any hospital in Scotland. The charity is based on Hamish’s parent’s own experience of having a child with a cancer diagnosis and wanting to make the most of every opportunity away from the hospital. The charity allows families to do the same without any concerns about their financial situation.
