Story
Judy, James and Sarah are so grateful for the letters, cards, flowers and kind expressions of sympathy following Noel's death on 2 August. We will treasure the memories you have shared with us.
Given the limited number of people who were able to attend Noel's funeral we have set up this page so that you can access a recording of the service as well as the service sheet. We are also aware that a number of you would like to make a donation to a worthy cause in Noel's memory. Mill Grove is a deserving charity which is close to our hearts.
If you would like to listen to the service or download a copy of the service sheet please copy and paste the following link into your browser:

If you are able to give a donation, Mill Grove is the name of the home of a unique extended family and residential community that began as an informal foster family in 1899. It is still a place of love and care where children and young people who cannot live with their own families are cared for, and where families who need accommodation and support can stay. In this homely setting and atmosphere Christians share their lives with children and young people.
Over 1,000 children have lived here for all or part of their childhood and many of these, now living in different parts of the world, regard Mill Grove as their home. Hundreds more, though continuing to live with their own families, have found it to be a place of acceptance, encouragement and nurture.
Noel met Keith, one of the Mill Grove family members, on the beach in Borth-y-Gest in the 1980s and their shared love of cricket resulted in an annual cricket match on Borth-y-Gest beach between the Mill Grove children and our extended family. The match still continues today and was played in Noel's honour in August this year. Click 'View Gallery' to see some photos of the match over the years.
