Story
A few months ago, I moved to a new place where something extraordinary happened. A cat adopted me. It may sound strange, but it's true. This cutie cat took it upon himself to be my guardian, and our bond has since grown deeper than I ever imagined.
He comes to our communal garden, and that's where
we meet and do cute things under the sun. In a world filled with schedules and contracts, we find each other through simple meows.
Rona, as I've come to call him, has had a challenging life. I discovered he leads a dual existence, with two names and two lives!
Rona, Bobby, Ron... whatever his real name may be, he's undoubtedly one of the smartest creatures I've ever met.
His intelligence goes beyond language barriers; he seems to understand Tamil, English, Gibberish, Spanish, and who knows what else. But beyond words, he grasps emotions, providing support during my struggles with health issues. Little did I know that this four-legged friend could bring such comfort and solace in times of need.
Despite his own health battles, Rona and I are preparing together for the London Marathon. Yes, you heard that right. It's my way of showing gratitude for his unwavering companionship together with my best friend Nina who is also running for a mental health charity

This cat's love and affection have truly changed my life. As I care for him, taking him to the vet and supporting him in every possible way, I realize that my purpose extends beyond this unique bond. It's an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of countless animals out there who deserve better and need our help.
So, here I am, urging you to join me on this journey of compassion. Your donation can make a significant impact, not only for Rona but also for countless other amazing beings out there. I promise that your contribution will be rewarded with heartwarming stories about Rona and the other adorable creatures we encounter.
Having completing multiple races including the Richmond Half 2023, Oxford Half 2023 , Cambridge Half 2024 , Liverpool Half 2024 and Plan on the Kew Gardens half next , I cannot wait to run the London Marathon!
