Story

Thomas is 10 months old and has moderate Brachycephaly and severe Plagiocephaly of his head. This means it is asymmetrical and not a ‘normal’ shape at the back.  We have been seen by Great Ormond Street Hospital and have found that we need to go private to get the helmet treatment that would help us sort Thomas’ issue.

The treatment costs £2,000 and will be starting ASAP as babies heads slow down in growth after 1 year old. The helmet has to be worn 23 hours per day and Thomas will wear his for a year approximately.

Headstart4Babies help raise awareness of these conditions and support the families involved.

I’m looking to raise money by doing a raffle and also Daren has given me permission to shave his head and his precious beard 😱 if people will sponsor him. .

Don’t feel that you have to donate, but it would be greatly appreciated if you wanted to.  The money you donate will go towards getting his helmet treatment.
