We have been rescuing, treating, caring to for and rehoming dogs locally since 1992

Story

Most of you have been following poor Coco's progress since she arrived at HQ with an evident bladder issue and was struggling to pass urine. A simple flow test here  revealed only a few drops of bloody urine were the result of continuous straining and squatting. After ongoing antibiotics, several tests and a scan our brave girlie was diagnosed with an extremely large bladder stone. This had been there for a longtime and would have been very painful and distressing for her. This is a huge, unbudgeted drain on our resources at a time when we are unable to fundraise due to Covid-19 and as such feel the need to pop up this emergency page. (Her previous owner has been advised and is arranging a small monthly contribution). Coco is recovering really well but is still on her Urinary Diet and antibiotics and will also require follow up tests to make sure she is fully recovered.
