Story
QS World Merit supports young people to learn, grow and take action for a regenerative future. This December we are highlighting and raising funds for our councils who are setting up tangible and meaningful projects in their local community.
QS World Merit Nigeria is visiting Orphanages this Christmas and also thanking the local Police Force by providing food and daily resources. Their aim is to “show them love and encourage them”.
They are donating 50 units QS WM Branded towels, 500 units Exercise Books, 50 units School Bags, 10 packs of Instant Noodles. They are also donating 3 Bags of Rice and 20 litres of Vegetable oil to the Police Force. Their goal is to raise $1020 for the orphanages and $411 for the police force.
“These outreaches are very important because barely anyone pays attention to the law enforcement agencies. These Christmas projects will speak to SDGs 1,2,4, 16 and 17 16.” - President of QSWM Nigeria

80% of your donation goes straight to the council's project and pays for tangible resources to hand out. No funds go to the council members as salary, they are doing this voluntarily. 20% of your donation goes to the QS WM Charity to grow our work of supporting changemakers on the ground. We operate with the 80/20 principle where we are here to provide a framework to support our community members with opportunities, mentorship and resources to learn, grow and take action. The Charity is currently operating with a small team of 3 part-time employees supported by a team of volunteers.
