As part of this years UK Police Unity Tour ride, I am riding in memory of PC David De Burgh Thomas, an officer of Thames Valley Police who died at the age of 40 on 17th July 2001, whilst on duty with the Thames Valley Police Intelligence Support Team.
The effect of losing a loved one, friend or colleague is always traumatic, especially in sudden and unexpected circumstances and the support needed for the family continues for many years
This is my opportunity to give something back to those who can make it easier, by raising funds for the Care of Police Survivors (COPS) who do exactly what is says on the tin!
Every penny I raise will go to the Care of Police Survivors. All costs to complete the event are paid by the riders and I have committed to raise a minimum of £400.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
I have enabled text donations (see below) which make it easier than ever: £3.00 is the price of a Coffee, £5.00 is the price of a glass of wine, £10.00 makes a real difference!
