Marafiki Trust was set up in Dec 2019 by Liz and me! Funds raised in the UK currently support two organisations in Kawangware, Nairobi making huge differences to the lives of some of the poorest children there. Set up by four former street children, the Real Hope (RHYCO) centre runs a drop-in centre to offer emotional and educational support to children close to living permanently on the streets. The Joyful Hearts Centre (JHC) supports children with cerebral palsy who have no other help. 

We are in the throws of supporting RHYCO as they move into larger premises to be able to work with more kids, and to offer a 'safe house' residential centre for short-term accommodation at times of crisis.

I shall top up my birthday gifts to be able to buy the first water tank for the new centre which they hope to move into in October.
