Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit the late Nicola's JustGiving page.
On Sunday 15th November 2020, Nicola Diles sadly passed away due to COVID-19. Nicola was much loved by me and her whole family, who are still coming to terms with this devastating loss.
Everyone who knew Nicola loved her, she was the epitome of kindness, caring and love. Nicola had an amazing smile which could light up any room she entered.
As a much valued employee at Castle Hill Hospital, Nicola will be sadly missed by her work colleagues who she loved nothing more than helping and doing the best job she possibly could for them.
Nicola spent her whole life with crippling lymphoedema, affecting her arms, legs and her walking. Nicola had a fantastic personality, she was a really happy bubbly person who found ways to do the things she enjoyed in life, such as visiting national trust properties, many of which could supply mobility scooters to help her get around the beautiful gardens she enjoyed. She enjoyed trips to see birds of prey, taking a particular love in vultures, owls and eagles. Her other passion was taking boat trips out to the Farne Islands, where she would sit at the front of the boat in the choppy seas with a huge smile on her face.
Although a cure couldn’t be found for her, Nicola would have appreciated any donations you could offer to the ones still living with the crippling condition of lymphoedema and if she was still with us would thank you from her huge heart of gold.
