Story
My 13 year old son Harry was diagnosed with T-Cell lymphoblastic lymphoma in 2017 which is a cancer that attacks the chest. Harry and ourselves were thrown into a world of chemotherapy, lumber punctures, blood transfusions and numerous hospital visits and stays due to low immune. During this time the charity Gold Geese have been a rock to us all. Putting us in touch with other families going through the same thing, days out to lift spirits when low, mums evenings where I have had an opportunity to speak freely with other mums who have sick children like harry, this has made me feel not alone. My fantastic and supportive friend George Mcdonagh has agreed to accompany me through this challenge. We will be doing every class that Lifestyle Fitness Gym put on for 6 days. That’s a total of 33 classes including Spin, boot camp circuit and much more. The reason for this challenge is because watching Harry go through his treatment of 3 and a half years, still a year left, has been tough. Even tougher is every 28 days Harry needs a special chemo and steroid which attack the muscles in the body which cause muscle pain especially in his legs. So doing these classes for a week will nothing compared to what he and other children experience. Any support would be amazing. Wish us luck ! Thanks for reading xx
