Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page!

On the 5th July 2016, along with my best friend, sister and her boyfriend (as well as a group of others) I will be setting off on Foggy and Jake's Iceland Trek to spend five days trekking 58km through the stunning terrain of Iceland, through ice cold streams, sheer drops and of course the snow and ice!

Anyone who knows me will know this is a massive challenge, as a lover of my home comforts these will be stripped from me - and as a lover of my sleep, just three hours of darkness each night will be challenging in itself! Not to mention the fact I am *probably* one of the least active people you know.

I am so excited (yet slightly terrified) to take on this massive challenge, and although I know it will be extremely hard, I am undertaking this for an amazing cause. Every 25 seconds a child calls ChildLine, and every 10 minutes someone contacts the NSPCC helpline - this just shows how important the NSPCC charity is, and how vital it is we keep raising funds so they can continue to carry out their incredible work with children, parents and schools.

I am aiming to raise £3000, all of which will go directly to the NSPCC, but can't do this without all of your help! It would really mean a lot if you could leave a donation, no matter how big or small, to help me reach this target and complete this crazy challenge!

Now I'm off to buy some hiking boots...
