We fund long-term, sustainable research to find a cure for brain tumours

Story

On November 13th 2012 Nick was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour. He went through surgery, radiotherapy, three types of chemotherapy and many other treatments too and took everything that was thrown at him without complaining. The condition did not affect Nick's temperament and he remained the intelligent and witty man we all knew him to be.

Nick sadly passed away on the 5th September 2013 after fighting the illness for 10 months and unfortunately there were only a number of treatment options available.

By supporting Brain Tumour Research through The Nick Cotton Foundation we are hoping that new medicines and treatments will become available so that others with similar conditions will benefit from this.

Nick's wife and family would like to thank all those that have donated to The Nick Cotton Foundation. Nick always wanted to help others and thanks to your generosity and kindness his wishes will be realised.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
