Nick sadly passed away on the 6th April 2020 after a very short battle with cancer. 

The funeral will be held on Wednesday 29th April 2020 at Midday at the Garden of England Crematorium in Sittingbourne. Sadly, due to current restrictions attendance is strictly limited. 

As many of you know, Nick was an AMU Porter at Medway Maritime Hospital. He often described it as the most rewarding job he had ever done and we were incredibly proud of him.

As a patient, Nick received excellent care and support from the amazing staff at the hospital, especially on Lawrence ward, for which we will be eternally grateful.

Therefore, as a family and in keeping with Nick’s wishes, in lieu of flowers, it would really mean a lot to us if you could make a small donation in memory of Nick to the Lawrence Ward at Medway Maritime Hospital.

During Nick’s illness and since his passing we have been overwhelmed by all the love and support shown to us. It is heart warming to know just how much Nick was liked and loved by so many people. Thank you.

Nick nous a quittés le 6 avril 2020 après un très court combat contre le cancer.

La cérémonie des obséques aura lieu le mercredi 29 avril 2020 à midi (heure locale) au Crématorium de Sittingbourne. Malheureusement, en raison des restrictions actuelles, la présence est strictement limitée.

Comme beaucoup d'entre vous le savent, Nick était brancardier à l'hôpital de Medway. Il a souvent décrit ce travail comme le plus valorisant qu'il ait jamais fait et nous sommes incroyablement fiers de lui.

En tant que patient, Nick a bénéficié d'excellents soins et du soutien du personnel extraordinaire de l'hôpital, en particulier dans le service Lawrence, et nous leur en serons éternellement reconnaissants.

C'est pourquoi, nous sa famille et dans le respect des volontés de Nick, au lieu de fleurs, nous vous proposons de faire un don en sa mémoire au Lawrence Ward de l'hôpital de Medway, cela nous toucherait vraiment beaucoup.

Pendant la maladie de Nick et depuis son départ, nous avons été bouleversés par tout l'amour et le soutien qui nous ont été témoignés. Il est réconfortant de savoir à quel point Nick était apprécié et aimé par tant de gens. Merci.
