Fundraising for The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR)
Story
Hi, I will be doing my second ride for life this September. Somehow less fit and fatter than last year... but still looking to raise money for this great cause and beat my time last year. Please sponsor me and help research into cancer
Supporting the Institute of Cancer Research, Ride of Life will see 30 riders take on a challenging 100km (63 mile) or 60km (36 mile) route.
About this Event
The Ride of Life has been created as a sister event to the Climb of Life which has been running for over 30 years and has raised nearly one million pounds. The event is looking to raise as much money as possible for the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) to help them with the amazing work they do on a daily basis to support the fight against cancer.
The cycle challenge will take place in the Surrey countryside, and include the iconic climbs of Leith Hill and Box Hill, which was part of the 2012 Olympic Road Race.
The ROL / Ride of Life links through to and supports, the COL / Climb of Life which has been running for many years now under the faithful and skilled leadership of Graeme Chapman OBE and the RoL is pleased to be supporting Graeme and the teams excellent hill walking efforts with this event.
