MUG is bringing back its popular #BSW fundraiser for the fifth year running. We’re asking the men and women of the island to wear traditional Bermuda shorts and socks for one week commencing Monday 28th June. There will be FREE MUG socks for the first 200 sign ups.

Story

I have lost a few friends to cancer over the years.  I will be posting regular updates with
pictures of how the beard is progressing so you can all have a laugh!

One in two people will get cancer in their lifetime.

This is just a small part I can do to raise some money for a great
charity. I will be posting beard update photos so you can all have a jolly good
laugh. Thanks for taking the time to read this and if you donate.  I have
a scar on my chin which means I may have a bald patch for your
entertainment!  Not sure it is possible to do a combover on a beard.

The focus of Male Uprising Guernsey (MUG) is to increase awareness and promote education around the symptoms and treatment of prostate, bowel and testicular cancers.

Funds raised are also used to improve the diagnosis and care of local men suffering with male cancers.

Male Uprising Guernsey aims to get men, whatever their age, to be more confident, outgoing and questioning of their health symptoms. Most importantly, we encourage men to seek medical advice
and assistance at the earliest opportunity - as procrastination or
delays can have deadly consequences.
