Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am running the London Marathon 2018 to raise funds for  'Stroke Association' and my aim is to raise £2,000 for this great charity.

I have chosen this charity to support as almost two years ago, my step-mum Julia suffered a sudden stroke and passed away shortly afterwards. Julia was a fun, active and healthy person and as with many stroke victims, this came on suddenly with no warning and affected so many family and friends who loved her dearly.

I want to raise as much money as possible for more research to prevent this happening in the future and to further support the families and friends of those who have also had this unfortunate experience.

I would appreciate any donations no matter how small for my marathon run which I dedicate to Julia as well as my dad, her two children Robyn and Tom and her three grandchildren whom her memory lives on in.

Please remember if you are a taxpayer to hit the gift aid box and thank you for your support. I look forward to seeing (and hearing) some of you on the day.
