Story
Ok, so there will be a number of people double checking they've got the right Nick Finn taking part in a 3 day long distance cycling event. For those that know me, up until recently, the only sport anyone would link me with would be some over active dancing on a rare night out.
A couple of years ago I swapped my car for a bike on the basis I thought the roads would be a nightmare during the London Olympics. Ironically the roads had never been clearer but having committed to it, I've been riding to and from work ever since. This has lead to a few longer rides and it then dawned on me that I could finally be one of those amazing people who does something for charity.
The problem I have is a few miles a day plus a couple of leisure rides is going to be very different to 3 solid days of fast riding covering over 320 miles. This is going to be the most physical challenge I have ever taken on and I need as much support as possible to motivate me to finish the strenuous training that has been required and keep me going on the way to the Eiffel Tower. The photo I've chosen to share with you on this page hopefully shows how painful training has been with me straining to get to the top of Box Hill a couple of weeks ago.
So if you would kindly assist me to raise funds for a great charity I really need the boost to get me as fit as possible and keep me spinning for 3 days and 320+ miles.
